Andrew Smith, MD, MS

Andrew M. Smith, MD, MS, is a board-certified allergy, asthma, and immunology specialist and the owner of Allergy Associates of Utah, serving patients in Sandy and West Jordan, UT. With decades of experience, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages dealing with allergies, asthma, and immune-related conditions.

Dr. Smith completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University before earning his Doctor of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He then pursued a residency in internal medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and furthered his expertise with a Master of Science in Molecular Epidemiology. In 2007, he completed a prestigious Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

Committed to staying at the forefront of his field, Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI). He has also contributed to numerous research publications, conferences, and professional meetings, solidifying his reputation as a leader in allergy and immunology.

At Allergy Associates of Utah, Dr. Smith provides expert diagnosis and treatment for seasonal allergies, asthma, food and medication sensitivities, eczema, hives, and sinus issues. He also offers advanced testing and treatments, including orthopedic device allergy testing, rapid and cluster immunotherapy, extended contact allergy testing, penicillin testing and challenge, and aspirin desensitization.
